v11.0: Keyboard Accessibility and a deep secret


It seems that I’m able to publish updates weekly! I wasn’t expecting the game to progress so quickly. I think we can safely assume it will be finished sometime in January.

This update is a huge one. For one, it adds keyboard accessibility to the entire game. You can now play by using only a keyboard, and even navigate in the grid with arrow keys. I added special styles to better highlight focused elements.

And once again, new secrets has been added to the game, with another ending. This one is pretty tough to reach, you’ll need several knowledge to unlock it! It’s intended as the last ending for most players, so it should be especially rewarding. (that doesn’t mean there isn’t more endings though)

Fix

  • Green tile is visible in first field
  • Some background images fade in when loaded
  • Pink fields tiles revealed on first visit don’t play an animation
  • Tiles for M*** are revealed once the loading is complete
  • Prevent hint animation being pushed after a restart

As the end of year’s holidays and celebrations approach, it’s unlikely I’ll publish another update next week. I’ll have some time for Starseed Harmonies though so perhaps there will be one at the end of December. There are still more accessibility features needed, I’ll keep focusing on those. And on top of that, I’ll start working on the last stretch of secrets, the ones that will be very challenging.
