Orchestre-JS 1.0.1


Hello everyone! I'm releasing Orchestre-JS, a web library that manages layers in a song in order to create a dynamic soundtrack. It aims to be minimalist and very easy to use. This is the tool that I've created for Moog Memories and Blood Not Allowed.

Here is a list of things you can do with it:

  • Add and remove instruments dynamically
  • Change dynamically the music for new enemies or locations
  • Having musical feedback in rhythm
  • Making the game react to the beat of the music
  • Scheduling events on upcoming beats

The rest is up to you!

It should be compatible with most JS game framework. Including Phaser, Twine, or just pure JS.

I'm very impatient to see this in use. It's my first open-source library, huhu. It helped me a lot for my previous games, and I hope it will help someone else!

If you have any question or issue, feel free to contact me! And since it is open-source, you can even look at the source code if you're curious.
